Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana

Madhya Pradesh government has started CM Ladli Behna Yojana for the overall development of women, under this scheme, women are given Rs 1,250 every month. The main objective of Ladli Behna Yojana is to make women financially independent, to maintain the improvement in the health and nutrition level of children dependent on women. The financial assistance provided to women will also encourage their effective role in decision making at the family level.

The Mukhya Mantri Ladli Behna Yojana is designed to:

• Improve the health and nutritional status of women and dependent children.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Ladli Behna Yojana, women must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
• The applicant should be a resident of Madhya Pradesh
• Married, widowed, divorced and deserted women are eligible
• The annual income of the family should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh
• No member of the family should be an income tax payer
• The family should not have more than 5 acres of agricultural land
• Must be married, including widows, divorced, and abandoned women.
• Age should be 23 years or older but less than 60 years as of January 1 of the application year.
