The Delhi government has launched the Delhi Mitra application, which will resolve citizen complaints. This Mitra app will make grievance redressal simple, fast, and transparent. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta called it an important step towards good governance.
Now all their complaints will be redressed through the ‘Mitra App – Public Grievance Resolution’ system. The facility to file complaints via WhatsApp will also be available. The app will act as a single-window system for complaints against Delhi government, Delhi Police, DDA, MCD, NDMC, and Delhi Cantonment Board.

What is Delhi Mitra App?
To resolve public complaints quickly and transparently, the Delhi government has decided to launch the Delhi Mitra App. Now, all complaints will be resolved through the Delhi Mitra App. Citizens will receive updates on every stage of their complaint through SMS or WhatsApp messages.
Features of Delhi Mitra
- Single platform for all complaints (Delhi govt, police, MCD, NDMC, DDA, Cantonment Board).
- Complaint filing through both mobile app and WhatsApp.
- Regular updates on complaint status via SMS/WhatsApp.
- Dedicated nodal officers for quick and accountable redressal.
- Weekly public hearings on Wednesdays.
Delhi residents will be able to log in to the portal or mobile app using their mobile OTP. After submitting a complaint, citizens will be able to provide feedback. If a citizen is not satisfied with the redressal, their complaint will be escalated to higher authorities based on their negative feedback. This will help the complainant obtain a prompt resolution.
