The voter list has been released online in view of the Bihar Assembly elections in 2025. While the names of millions of old voters have been deleted from this new voter list, some facts have come to light that have caused a stir in political circles.
It is essential to have your name on the voter list to vote. Every eligible citizen must ensure that their name is included in the released voter list so they can exercise their right to vote. How to check your name in the list?
If you want to enroll your name in the Bihar final voter list, you can do so online, through a mobile app, or via SMS. The process is easy and requires only basic information or your EPIC (Voter ID) number.
- Visit the official website of Election Commission https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in or https://voters.eci.gov.in.
- Click “Search in Voter List.”
- After clicking, you can search for your name in two ways: enter your name, date of birth, state (select Bihar), district, and assembly constituency, or enter your EPIC number (from your voter ID card).
- After filling in the details, click “Search.”
- If your name is listed, you will see your booth name, serial number, and EPIC number on the screen.

Downloading the Bihar Voter List 2025 is very easy. Citizens of Bihar can visit (ceoelection.bihar.gov.in) or (voters.eci.gov.in), select their district, assembly constituency, and booth and download the PDF list. Apart from this, the complete list can also be easily viewed and downloaded from the Voter Helpline mobile app.
How to download from the National Portal
- Visit the National Portal of the Election Commission of India (voters.eci.gov.in) or [electoralsearch.eci.gov.in].
- Select the ‘Search in Electoral Roll’ option.
- Here you can search by entering your details (name, district, assembly constituency etc.) or directly by EPIC (Voter ID) number.
- After the search, your voter information will be displayed on the screen.
- To download the complete voter list, again visit [voters.eci.gov.in], select ‘Download Electoral Roll’ link, select Bihar state and your assembly seat and download the PDF.
How to download from Bihar Election Portal
- First, open the official website (ceoelection.bihar.gov.in).
- Click on the ‘Electoral Roll’ 2025 link on the homepage.
- Select your district, assembly constituency, and polling station.
- Enter the captcha/security code displayed on the screen.
- Now click on ‘Download Selected PDF’.
- The new voter list PDF file for your area will be downloaded.
How to download from mobile app (Voter Helpline / NVSP App)
- Download the official ‘Voter Helpline’ app or ‘NVSP App’ from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Login/Register with mobile number, email or EPIC number.
- Select Bihar as the state and go to the ‘Search in Voter List’ or ‘Electoral Roll’ section.
- Now you can download the voter list PDF of your area directly from the app or view it online.
