What is Jan Samarth Portal?
The Jan Samarth Portal is a digital portal that provides access to 13 credit-linked government schemes. Loans are offered under 15 government schemes in seven loan categories. There are also agri-loans for farmers, education loans for children, and loans for those starting a business. The Jan Samarth portal offers loan applications under a variety of schemes.

PM Svanidhi: This scheme was launched to help street vendors and drivers. It provides a loan of up to ₹50,000 without any interest. All eligible citizens can apply.
Mudra Scheme: This scheme was launched by the central government for small and micro businesses. Loans are offered in three categories: Shishu (small), Kishor (medium), and Tarun (large). The loan amount can be ₹1 lakh, ₹5 lakh, or ₹10 lakh.
Animal Husbandry Loans: This is for those interested in animal husbandry. Citizens can receive a 50% government subsidy (meaning the government helps cover part of the loan).

- You will now be given the option to enter your mobile number.
- After entering the number, click “Get OTP” and enter the OTP received on your mobile.
- After entering the OTP, a new form will open.
- Now, enter all the information in the application form.
- After completing the registration process, you will receive a Login ID and Password.
- After submitting your application, you can track the status of your application in real-time through the portal.
