Mukhyamantri Rasoi Gas Subsidy Yojana

The Rajasthan government has started the Mukhyamantri Rasoi Gas Subsidy Yojana, giving great relief to common families, especially women, in the era of inflation. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government has sent subsidy of Rs 75 crore 68 lakh on about 30 lakh 10 thousand gas cylinders to the accounts of the beneficiaries under this scheme.

This scheme is not just limited to providing subsidy but is a big step towards economically empowering women and providing clean fuel to every household. The biggest advantage of this scheme is that LPG gas cylinders are being made available to eligible women for just Rs 450.

Through the Chief Minister’s LPG Subsidy Scheme, the aim is to provide LPG at affordable rates to poor, middle class and needy families. Under the scheme, the beneficiary woman first purchases a cylinder at the market rate, after which the agreed subsidy amount is transferred directly to her bank account (DBT). This ensures transparency and provides financial relief to women.

Gas cylinder will be available for Rs. 450

Currently, the market price of a domestic LPG cylinder is around ₹900 to ₹950. Under the Chief Minister’s Cooking Gas Subsidy Scheme, the government provides the difference between the cylinder price and the ₹450 subsidy. For example, if the price of the cylinder is Rs 950 and the beneficiary woman pays Rs 450, then the remaining amount of around Rs 500 is returned to the account as subsidy.

How to check whether the LPG cylinder subsidy

With this scheme, kitchen expenses are reducing and families are not burdened with expensive cylinders. If you want to know whether gas subsidy has been credited to your account or not, you can check it in several ways, which are as follows:

• Check your DBT entry through your bank passbook or mobile banking app.
• Check your subsidy status by visiting the LPG company’s website (Indane, Bharat Gas, HP Gas).
• Check SMS alerts for your Aadhaar-linked bank account.
• You can also visit your nearest e-Mitra center for information.
• Let us tell you that the subsidy is usually transferred to the account within a few days of cylinder refill.

Who will get the benefit of LPG cylinder subsidy scheme?

The LPG cylinder subsidy scheme is available only to women who have an LPG connection under the Ujjwala Yojana or Food Security Scheme. Women who meet the eligibility criteria set by the state government can also apply. This usually includes families covered under the National Food Security Act (NFSA), Ujjwala Yojana beneficiaries and other eligible categories.
