What is PM Scholarship Scheme?
PM Scholarship Scheme presented by the Indian government is to help people successfully get a higher education. Under these scholarships, selected scholars are offered up to ₹3,000 per month. The Scheme will cover OBC/EBC/DNT students for pursuing studies beyond Class XII.
Eligible Applicants
- Ex-servicemen, Ex-Coast Guard personnel, or State Police personnel who were martyred in terrorist or Naxal attacks.
- Scheme will cover OBC/EBC/DNT students for pursuing studies beyond Class XII.
- The benefit of the Scheme will not be provided to more than 2 siblings in a family.
Documents Required for PMSS Scholarship
Candidates should become acquainted with the necessary paperwork to apply for the Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme. The list of required supporting documents for the PM Scholarship application is as follows.

- Class 10/12/Diploma/Graduation marksheets and certificates
- Bonafide certificate from the institution

Step-by-Step Guide to Apply Online for PM Scholarship Scheme
The students will submit their applications on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). The steps below explain how you can apply for it.
Registration for New Applicant:
Step 01: Open the official NSP website and click on ‘New Registration‘ under Applicant Corner.
Step 02: Read the Instruction/Guidelines, provide the undertaking by clicking on the Check box then click on Continue.
Step 03: Start the registration by providing the required details.
Registered Applicant:
Step 01: Open the official NSP website and click on ‘Fresh Application‘ under Applicant Corner.
Step 02: Login with your application ID & password.
Step 03: Select the Scholarship.
Step 04: Fill out the applicant form.
Step 05: Upload the required documents and Submit.
