Eligibility Criteria for PM YASASVI Scheme
The following criteria must be met to qualify for the entrance exam:
- Student must belong to OBC, EBC or DNT category.
- He or she must be studying in any recognised institution for the academic year 2025.
- Student must be a resident of Punjab or studying in Punjab under eligible category rules.
- Post-Matric level courses (Class 11 onwards) are covered under this scholarship.

How to Apply Online for PM Yasasvi Scholarship Scheme
Application process is online and very simple. Students can apply through the Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship Portal by following these steps:
Step 1: To register for the PM YASASVI Scheme, visit the official website of the YASASVI Scheme on the NTA site.
Step 2: Select the register option from the menu on the right side of the page.
Step 3: The Candidate Registration page will open.
Step 4: Enter the candidate’s name, email ID, date of birth, and create a password. Afterward, click the Create Account button.
Step 5: You will be registered successfully. Please note down the application number generated for future reference.
The scholarship, once awarded, will continue till the completion of the course. The students are required to apply for scholarships every year even in case of renewal also.

PM Yasasvi Scholarship Selection Process
YASASVI offers scholarships at two educational levels: Pre-matriculation (Class 9th) and Secondary (Class 11th).
