What is Saksham Yuva Yojana Haryana?
The Employment Department of Haryana Government has started Saksham Yuva Scheme with the aim of providing employment to the youth. Under this scheme, not only does unemployment allowance come every month, but youth are also provided with 100 hours of work and paid an honorarium. Under this scheme, the Haryana government aims to provide employment to unemployed youth in the state to earn a living.

How much unemployment allowance is given in Haryana?
Under the Haryana government’s Saksham Yuva Yojana, registered unemployed youth receive a monthly unemployment allowance for three years. There are three categories: 12th-grade, graduate, and postgraduate. The unemployment allowance varies for each of the three categories. Applicants receive a monthly honorarium of ₹6,000. In addition to the honorarium, the government provides 100 hours of employment.

Eligibility Criteria for Saksham Yojana
- The applicant has to be a native of the State of Haryana to benefit from the scheme.
- The applicant is also required to be registered in the employment exchange.
- It is mandatory for an applicant to pass the level of post-graduation.
- Only applicants between the age of 21 and 35 are eligible to apply for the plan.
- The annual income of the applicant’s family has to be less than three lakhs.
- The applicant’s family should not be declared a defaulter in the matter of non-payment of house tax.

How to Apply for Saksham Yuva Yojna
Step 1: Navigate to the Haryana Employment Department’s official portal.
Step 2: Select ‘Free Job Seekers Registration.’
Step 3: Select, ‘Proceed with Registration’ after going through the instructions and guidelines.
Step 4: You will be redirected to a five-page form. Fill out the form and click on save.
Step 5: You are now registered under the scheme.
Step 6: In 15 days of online registration, you will need to submit all of the documents.
Step 7: After that, you have to go to Saksham Yuva Page.
Step 8: A new form will pop up, and you will have to fill that out and submit it.
