SIR Survey 2026 – Revises Schedule for Special Intensive Revision

SIR Survey is a special intensive voter list revision drive. In this campaign, the Election Commission goes door-to-door to thoroughly verify and update the voter list. The main objective of SIR Survey is to make the voter list in Madhya Pradesh completely accurate, updated and error-free. This intensive door-to-door drive aims to ensure the voter list is accurate ahead of upcoming elections.

SIR involves door-to-door survey to add new voters, remove dead or duplicate names, correct incorrect information and match all records with the 2003 Aadhaar list to ensure accurate and reliable voter list for the upcoming elections.

Eligibility for SIR Survey

• Age: Must be 18 years or older on the date of application.
• Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen.
• Residence: Must be a permanent or usual resident of the constituency/booth/assembly constituency in which you wish to add your name.
• Documents: Valid identity and address documents must be available.
• No duplicate names: The voter’s name must not be registered in any other constituency.
• Mental Qualification: Must be mentally competent and not legally disqualified.
