The Tamil Nadu state government has launched the TN Labour Registration Portal to support state workers, particularly those in the unorganized sector. The unorganized sector workers can now receive a dry ration and Rs. 1000 twice a day through TNUWWB portal.Â
What is TNUWWB?
The Tamil Nadu government recently launched the TN Labour Registration scheme. This board also introduced the various welfare programs to support the Labour of the state. This initiative aims to provide food security and financial assistance to eligible applicants. Under which the daily basis wages benefits will be given to them to stabilise their income.
All the workers who successfully registered with the portal will get financial assistance, Social Security Benefits. The scheme offers Rs 1000 monthly and dry rations twice a day to the registered workers. Approximately 27 lakh people have registered with this portal and are reaping the benefits.

Marriage Scheme: All the registered workers will get financial support from the board at the time of the marriage of their children.
Maternity Benefits: All the registered female workers also get maternity benefits during their pregnancy and at the time of delivery.
Scholarship Benefits: The Board also provide financial support in the shape of a scholarship for the education of the Children of the workers.
Medical and Life Insurance: all the registered workers will get medical and life insurance from the government.
