TNUWWB Application Status Check, Registration and Login

The Tamil Nadu state government has launched the TN Labour Registration Portal to support state workers, particularly those in the unorganized sector. The unorganized sector workers can now receive a dry ration and Rs. 1000 twice a day through TNUWWB portal. 

What is TNUWWB?

The Tamil Nadu government recently launched the TN Labour Registration scheme. This board also introduced the various welfare programs to support the Labour of the state. This initiative aims to provide food security and financial assistance to eligible applicants. Under which the daily basis wages benefits will be given to them to stabilise their income.

All the workers who successfully registered with the portal will get financial assistance, Social Security Benefits. The scheme offers Rs 1000 monthly and dry rations twice a day to the registered workers. Approximately 27 lakh people have registered with this portal and are reaping the benefits.

TNUWWB Welfare Schemes List

Marriage Scheme: All the registered workers will get financial support from the board at the time of the marriage of their children.

Maternity Benefits: All the registered female workers also get maternity benefits during their pregnancy and at the time of delivery.

Scholarship Benefits: The Board also provide financial support in the shape of a scholarship for the education of the Children of the workers.

Medical and Life Insurance: all the registered workers will get medical and life insurance from the government.

TNUWWB Application Status Check

The welfare board also work under the guidelines of the Labour and Employment Department of the state. To track the Application Status, the user needs to follow the below given steps:

• First of all, go to the official website of the Tamil Nadu Labour Portal i.e., https://labour.tn.gov.in/
• The homepage of the website will open
• Click on the Online Services tab followed by Application Status
• A new page will open
• Now, enter your application number
• After that, click on the search button and the application status will open on the screen

Eligibility Criteria

• Any worker in the unorganized sector is eligible
•  The worker is a resident of Tamil Nadu
• Should have completed 18 years of age

Documents based on the scheme applied

Workers applying for benefits under the TNUWWB portal. Some of the important documents required for TNUWWB are as follows:

Registration – Contract Labour/ Registration – Inter State Migrant Workman

• Photo ID proof (PAN card, Voter card, etc.)
• Residential proof of the owner of the establishment
• Location of the establishment
• List of the contractors along with their copies of respective agreements
• GST certificate/ rent agreement/ NOC, as applicable

Registration – Motor Transport

• Photo ID proof (PAN card, Voter card, etc.)
• Residential proof of the owner of the establishment
• Location of the establishment
• Registration certificate of motor vehicles
• Labour Welfare Fund contribution receipt
• GST certificate/ rent agreement/ NOC, as applicable

Registration – Plantation

• Photo ID proof (PAN card, Voter card, etc.)
• Residential proof of the owner of the establishment
• Revenue department issued a copy of Patta of the concerned land
• Income tax assessment report/ bank references, etc.
• GST certificate/ rent agreement/ NOC, as applicable
• Labour Welfare Fund contribution receipt

Steps to Register for TNUWWB

• First of all, go to the official website of the https://labour.tn.gov.in Tamil Nadu Labour Portal.
• The homepage of the website will open
• Click on the Online Services tab followed by Login button
• The login page will open
• Now, click on the New User tab
• The registration form will open on the screen
• Now, fill in the formwith all the required details
• After that, upload all the required documents
• Then, create your password and also confirm it
• Finally, click on the Register button to complete your registration process.
