The Government of Uttar Pradesh has launched a welfare initiative called the Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana to support economically weaker families. Under this scheme, eligible couples can get financial assistance from the government to help cover their wedding expenses. UP Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana
The Samuhik Vivah Yojana is a great initiative by the Uttar Pradesh government to help the economically weaker section families. Under this scheme, INR 1 lakh will be provided to each newlywed couple. This initiative is designed to reduce the financial burden on families and promote social welfare.
Eligibility for Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana
UP Govt. has fixed some criteria to avail the benefits of this scheme given below:-
- This scheme is only applicable for the citizens of Uttar Pradesh.
- Annual income must be less than Rs. 3 lakh per annum.
- All the couples including Widow and Divorced will also get benefit of scheme.
- Minimum age for bride is 18 years.
- Minimum age for groom is 21 years.
- The mass marriage ceremony must consist of at least 10 couples.

- Aadhaar card or Voter ID card of the couple (bride and groom)
- Birth certificate of the bride and groom (couple)
- Bank passbook of newly married girl

How to Apply Under Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana
- First, an applicant must visit the Shadi Anudan Yojana Website.
- The home page will open in front of you.
- On the home page, you have to click on the Apply Now option.
- The registration form will appear on your screen.
- You have to enter the details asked in the application form carefully.
- Now attach all the important documents that were asked for.
- Now you have submit this form in the nearest Gram Panchayat, municipal corporation, municipality district headquarters, etc.
