Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 inspires students of Classes 6–12 to innovate for Atmanirbhar Bharat, Swadeshi & Samriddhi. This nationwide initiative to inspire, innovation, creativity and problem-solving among school students of Classes VI – XII in alignment with the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. This event gives students and developers a chance to design new tools and apps.

What is Viksit Bharat Buildathon?
The Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 is India’s largest student innovation movement, launched by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Atal Innovation Mission. This initiative calls upon students, schools, and teachers to come forward and participate in this Buildathon. Schools across India can form teams of three to five students for participating.
The main goal of the Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 is nurtures critical thinking, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial skills in students. The initiative encourages innovation in four core areas- Atmanirbhar Bharat, Swadeshi, Vocal for Local, and Samriddhi.
- Vocal for Local: promoting local products, crafts and resources
- Atmanirbhar Bharat: building self-reliant systems, tools and solutions
- Swadeshi: fostering indigenous ideas, knowledge systems and innovation
- Samriddh Bharat: creating pathways to prosperity and sustainable development.

Apply Online for Viksit Bharat Buildathon
The registration for the Viksit Bharat Buildathon is simple and completely online. Students from Classes VI to XII can apply online through their schools. All Schools are required to register the team of students.
