The Bihar government has launched the Mukhyamantri Pratigya Yojana to provide financial and employment assistance to youth. Under this scheme, young people who have passed the 12th grade will have the opportunity to learn on the job in prestigious companies. During this internship, the government will also give Rs 4000 to ₹6000 every month to the youth.
The registration process for the Mukhyamantri Pratigya Yojana has started and its official portal has also been launched. Under this scheme, young people between the ages of 18 and 28 who have passed the 12th standard, ITI, diploma, or graduate degree are given a monthly allowance during their internship. Under this scheme, 12th-graders will receive ₹4,000 and graduates ₹6,000 per month.

What is Mukhyamantri Pratigya Yojana?
Internship opportunities are being offered to Bihar’s youth in large companies to develop professional skills. Under this internship scheme, graduates/postgraduates from the 12th grade will receive a stipend of ₹6,000 per month. This scheme has been launched especially to provide employment opportunities to unemployed youth in the age group of 18 to 28 years.
The program aims to provide internships to at least 100,000 young people over the next five years. Companies can offer permanent jobs based on their performance during the internship.
Eligibility for Mukhyamantri Pratigya Yojana
- The minimum educational qualification for a monthly stipend of Rs 4,000 is 12th pass.
- For a monthly stipend of Rs 5,000, a diploma in a professional course or an ITI course is required.
- For a monthly stipend of Rs 6,000, the minimum qualification is graduation.
- Applicants must be citizens of Bihar.
- Only youth between the ages of 18 and 25 will be selected.
- Only 5,000 youth will receive the opportunity in 2025-26.
- 20,000 youth will receive this opportunity starting next year.
- Training will be required under the Skills Development Program.
