Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan Yojana
The Assam State Government has launched the Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan to provide financial assistance to women. Under this scheme, eligible women are being provided financial assistance of INR 10,000. The scheme provides direct seed funding to help women launch or expand micro-enterprises.
Under this scheme, 40 lakh women living in Assam are being given financial assistance to start their own business. This scheme also facilitates employment generation through women-led enterprises.

Eligibility Criteria for MMUA
- Members must be part of self-help groups recognized under ASRLM.
- A valid Aadhaar seeded savings bank account is required.
- No defaults on payments related to SHGs, banks, or credit institutions.
- Women need a viable business plan for their enterprise.
- Must be engaged in at least one income-generating activity.
- Limit on number of children: three for General/OBC and four for SC/ST individuals.
- Submission of a Sankalp Patra promising to limit children if applicable.
- School-age girl children should be enrolled in educational institutions.
- Participation in Amrit Brikshya Andolan by planting saplings that are thriving.
