Madhya Pradesh Vatsalya Yojana – Check Eligibility and Application Process

The Madhya Pradesh Vatsalya Yojana was approved in the cabinet meeting held in the ministry under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and the registration process has started. Under this scheme, orphan children in the state will receive a monthly amount of 4000 rupees. In this, 60 percent amount will be contributed by the Government of India and 40 percent amount will be contributed by the State Government.

Cabinet meeting held under CM Dr. Mohan Yadav has also cleared the proposal to open new AYUSH hospitals in 12 districts. These steps will help farmers, improve health services and support government employees.

MP Vatsalya Yojana has been launched to support 33,346 orphan children in the state. Total 1,022 crore rupees have been approved for running the scheme for the next five years. This help is started so that these children can manage their basic needs like food, clothes and education. Rs 1,022 crore has been sanctioned by the state government for this scheme.

Which children are eligible for this assistance?

Many states across the country have a high number of vulnerable children. In such circumstances, the central government’s contribution reduces the financial burden on the states. This assistance of Rs. 4,000 will be provided to children in three categories.

Sponsorship: Children who live with their extended family.
Foster care: Children who are adopted by unrelated families for care.
Aftercare: Children who are trying to move forward after leaving an institution.

Eligibility Criteria for MP Vatsalya Yojana

Only eligible citizens will get the benefit of MP Vatsalya Yojana. Eligibility rules are simple and made to help real orphan children in the state.

• Child must be an orphan and fully dependent on the government for support, meaning both parents are not alive or missing.
• Child should be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh, and documents confirming MP residence must be available.
• Age of the child should be as per the rules set by the department, mostly covering children up to 18 years.
• Child should not be getting similar regular money help from any other government scheme.

Application Process for MP Vatsalya Yojana

The registration process for the MP Vatsalya Yojana has begun. Applicants can apply both online and offline. The process requires following these simple steps:

STEP 1: Visit the nearest Women and Child Development Department office or the official portal https://mpwcdmis.gov.in/

STEP 2: Take the application form for MP Vatsalya Yojana and carefully fill basic details of the child like name, age, guardian details and address.

STEP 3: Attach all required documents including death certificate of parents, residence proof, child’s age document and guardian’s ID proof.

STEP 4: Submit the completed form at the office or upload it on the official portal.

STEP 5: After checking, the department will add eligible children to the beneficiary list.
