The LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme is an initiative by the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). If you’re a bright student from an economically weaker background dreaming of pursuing higher education, you can apply for LIC Golden Jubilee scheme. Under this golden jubilee scholarship, eligible students receive annual financial assistance to complete her education. The selected candidates will receive up to ₹40,000 per annum.

What is LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship?

LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship is a social welfare initiative by LIC of India. The scholarship is provided to students who are pursuing a career in Medicine, Engineering, other graduation courses in Government/ Private college/ university.

The scholarship has two components:

General Scholarship: for students pursuing higher or technical education after Class 10 or 12.
Special Girl Child Scholarship: for girl students pursuing 10+2 or equivalent courses for two years.

Eligibility for Special Scholarship for Girls

Candidates who wish to apply under the Special Scholarship for Girls must meet the following criteria:

General Scholarship

Eligibility (Academic) : Female candidates who passed Class X (or equivalent) with ≥60% marks / CGPA in AY 2022-23 / 2023-24 / 2024-25

Admission Requirement (AY 2025-26) : Must have taken admission in first year of:• Intermediate / 10+2 pattern• Vocational Courses• Diploma Courses• ITI Courses (Govt. recognized)

Duration : Scholarship applicable for 2 years

Income Limit : Parents’/Guardian’s annual income must not exceed ₹4,50,000/-

Special Girl Child Scholarship

• Female candidate passed Class X in 2022-25 with ≥ 60%.
• Enrolled in 10+2 / Vocational / Diploma for two years starting 2025-26.
• Annual family income ≤ ₹4,50,000.

• Marksheet of Class X / XII / Diploma (with ≥ 60%)
• Admission proof for first-year course
• Income certificate or affidavit
• Bank account details with IFSC and cancelled cheque
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Identity proof (optional but recommended)
