The Rajasthan government has started the Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana for all the citizens of the state. Chiranjeevi Yojana

The Chiranjeevi Yojana is a universal health insurance scheme of the Rajasthan government, aimed at providing affordable and accessible medical care to the state’s residents. The scheme benefits BPL families, small farmers, contract workers, and other categories of families, ensuring that no family is deprived of medical care due to financial reasons.

The Chiranjeevi Yojana’s implementation has improved Rajasthan’s healthcare system. Under this scheme, eligible families are provided with cashless treatment. This means that patients do not have to pay upfront for hospitalization. The expenses are covered directly under the insurance plan.

Eligibility Criteria of Chiranjeevi Yojana

• The candidate has to be a person who has their primary residence in the sta1` tee of Rajasthan.
• The candidate should come from a socio-economic class that is less privileged than the rest of society.
• Socio-economic caste census 2011 beneficiaries
• Jan Aadhar cardholder
• Cardholders under the National Food Security Act
• Employees of Samvida from across all departments
