Under NAMO E-Tablet scheme eligible students can get a branded Acer or Lenovo tablet by paying only ₹1,000.
Approximately 10 million youth will benefit from this scheme. The Gujarat state government has allocated a budget of ₹3,000 crore for its implementation. The tablet provided through this scheme will be of great help to students pursuing graduation, post-graduation, technical and diploma courses.

What is Namo Tablet Scheme?
The Gujarat state government launched the Namo Tablet Scheme for children from poor and middle-class backgrounds. This scheme provides tablets to students to help them study better. Students receive good quality tablets at a very low cost.

Namo Tablet Yojana Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of the state of Gujarat.
- The applicant must have passed Class 12 from a recognized institution or board in the state of Gujarat.
- The applicant must be admitted to a college or university in the first year.
- Under this scheme, students studying in polytechnic colleges can apply and avail the benefits.
- The annual income of the applicant’s family must be less than ₹100,000.
