UP Shadi Anudan Yojana
The primary purpose of the marriage grant scheme is to provide financial assistance to poor families during their daughters’ weddings. In India, many families face financial constraints due to social customs and wedding-related expenses. Keeping this in view, the state government has started the marriage grant scheme.
Eligibility for Uttar Pradesh Shadi Anudan Yojana
Only eligible individuals will benefit from the Shadi Anudan Yojana. Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
- Annual income in rural areas should not exceed ₹46,080.
- Annual income in urban areas should not exceed ₹56,460.
- The bride must be at least 18 years old.
- The groom must be at least 21 years old.
- Financial assistance is available for a maximum of two daughters per family.
- This scheme is available for families belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, Minority and Economically Weaker Section (General).
Documents Required for Shadi Anudan Yojana

- The applicant must have an Aadhaar card and PAN card.
- The beneficiary must have a caste certificate.
- An income certificate must be available.
- The applicant must have a recent passport-sized photo.
- The daughter must have an age certificate.
- The applicant must have a marriage certificate.

How to register for UP Shadi Anudan Yojana online?
STEP 1: First of all go to the marriage grant portal http://shadianudan.upsdc.gov.in/.
STEP 2: After visiting the website, click on the option of New Registration/Application Process as per your caste category.
STEP 3: If you belong to the General, Scheduled Caste, or Scheduled Tribe category of the state of Uttar Pradesh, you will have to click on the same link to apply for the Marriage Grant Scheme.
STEP 4: After this, the applicant will have to enter his/her Aadhaar card number and complete the KYC through OTP.
STEP 5: After completion of KYC, UP Marriage Grant Scheme form will open.
STEP 6: Fill in all the required information correctly in the online application form and complete your registration by clicking on the “Submit” button given below.
For UP Shadi Anudan Yojana, families of different categories have to apply in different departments. Thus, for Other Backward Class families, application has to be made to Backward Class Welfare Department, for General Category and Scheduled Caste families, application has to be made to Social Welfare Department and for Scheduled Tribe families, application has to be made to Scheduled Tribe Development Department.

STEP 1: Visit the official website of Uttar Pradesh Marriage Grant Scheme.
STEP 2: On the homepage of the website, you have to click on the option “Application Form Status (Click here to know the status of the application form)”.
STEP 3: After this, a new page will open in front of you. Here you will be asked for information regarding the application for the girl child marriage grant.
STEP 4: Here you mainly have to enter the applicant’s name, bank account details and login password.
STEP 5: After that you rate the captcha code given in the picture at the specified place and click on the “Login” button.
