The government has launched the myScheme website, which provides information on all schemes launched by the state and central governments. The myScheme website is operated by the Digital India Corporation (DIC), Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY).
The government runs various government schemes. By taking advantage of these schemes, you can increase your family’s income and provide a good education for your children. But most of the people are not able to take advantage of these schemes, the reason for this is that people are not aware about it.
What is myScheme Portal?
myScheme is an initiative of the Government of India that provides information on all government schemes on a single portal. The portal is available in both Hindi and English, making it easily accessible to all. As on 3rd July, 2024, there are 2316 schemes in 15 categories on this portal.
Through the myScheme portal, you can easily access information related to government schemes. To search for any scheme, you need to enter your age, gender, and income details. The relevant scheme will then appear on the screen, allowing you to apply directly.
Earlier, people had to go to different websites to apply for these schemes. But now, with this portal, they can apply for all these schemes at one place. The best part is that you can select schemes based on your qualifications and eligibility to benefit from them. The best part about this portal is that even a poorly educated person with limited knowledge can easily operate it.
