Under the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana, citizens of the Vishwakarma community can get free training. The government provides this amount to the Vishwakarma community in two phases, ₹1,00,000 in the first phase and the remaining ₹2 lakh in the second phase. What is Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana?
The PM Vishwakarma Yojana is a very ambitious scheme under which loans are being provided to artisans and craftsmen at affordable rates. Its main goal is to help the traditional artisans and craftsmen of India improve their work with financial support.
These artisans and craftsmens will be officially recognized as ‘Vishwakarma’ and they will get various benefits and support from PM Vishwakarma scheme and futures schemes. The scheme will be initially implemented for five years, i.e. from 2023-24 to 2027-28.
This scheme is specifically for skilled individuals, such as carpenters, blacksmiths, potters, tailors, and those in other traditional professions. Online registration for this scheme has opened, allowing eligible candidates to apply from the comfort of their homes.

How to Apply Online in PM Vishwakarma Yojana
Step 1: First of all you have to visit the official website Vishwakarma Yojana.
Step 2: You will have to register on the website and create an ID and password and log in.
Step 3: Now log in to the portal using your ID and password, where the Vishwakarma Yojana form will open.
Step 4: Now enter all the information in the form and fill all the personal information.
Step 5: After filling the form, attach all the required documents like identity proof, address proof and caste certificate along with supporting documents.
Step 6: Now you have to submit the form, after which you will get a certificate, which you have to keep safely with you.
This completes the registration process. After applying, the relevant department will review the applicant’s form and provide financial assistance to those who meet the eligibility criteria.
