Eligibility for Pudhumai Penn Scheme
To apply for the scheme, a student must meet these conditions:
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Tamil Nadu.
- Must be a girl student studying in government or government-aided schools.
- Should have studied in Class 6 to 12 in a government school.
- Must be enrolled in UG, ITI, diploma or other recognized higher education courses in Tamil Nadu.

How to Apply Online for Pudhumai Penn Scheme

STEP 1: Visit the official Penkalvi portal at penkalvi.tn.gov.in or through the link provided by the institution.
STEP 2: Your school or college staff will log in with their institute username and password.
STEP 3: Once logged in, the institution will enter all the required student details.
STEP 4: Upload scanned documents such as Aadhaar, residence proof, transfer certificate and parent’s mobile number.
STEP 5: Submit the application and confirm successful registration.
