Rupashree Prakalpa Scheme
Govt. of West Bengal has launched Rupashree Scheme. This Scheme will be provided once in the form of financial assistance at the time of their marriage. The girl’s family income should be less than Rs. 1,50,000/- per year. Rupashree Prakalpa Scheme will provide one time grant of Rs. 25k on marriage of girls. The West Bengal government has made a budgetary allocation of Rs. 1500 crore for this scheme.
Rupashree Prakalpa Form
The Scheme’s Application form is available free-of-cost from the following offices.
A) Office of the Block Development Officer (BDO) in case the applicant resides in a Rural area.
B) Office of the Sub Divisional Officer (SDO) in case the applicant resides in Municipal area.
C) Office of the Commissioner in case the applicant resides in a Corporation area.
Submission of Rupashree Prakalpa Form
All the information has to be entered in the Rupashree Prakalpa Form. After which the completely filled application form along with all other necessary documents and certificates has to be submitted to the office of that Block Development Officer, Sub-Divisional Officer or Municipal Corporation Commissioner.
