The Rajasthan government has launched a free electricity scheme. Under this scheme, 150 units of electricity are provided free of charge per month. This scheme is part of the Mukhyamantri Nishulk Bijli Yojana, launched under the 2025-26 Rajasthan. Citizens of the state can apply to get up to 150 units of free electricity every month by installing solar panels at their homes. Thousands of people have already registered on the first day itself, showing huge public interest.

How to Apply Online for Free Electricity Scheme at bijlimitra.com
STEP 1: Visit the official Bijli Mitra portal bijlimitra.com or https://150unitmuftbijli.bijlimitra.com
STEP 2: On the homepage, click on “150 यूनिट प्रतिमाह नि:शुल्क बिजली योजना” as shown in below image.
STEP 3: Enter your 12-digit K Number to check eligibility on the next page.
STEP 4: After eligibility verification, you will get an OTP on your registered mobile number.
STEP 5: Enter the OTP and confirm your details.
STEP 6: Review your information and click on Submit to register your consent.
Once submitted, your request will be verified by the concerned Discom, and approved users will be contacted for solar installation.
Eligibility Criteria for Rajasthan’s 150 Units Free Electricity Scheme
- Be a permanent resident of Rajasthan.
- Have a valid K Number (12-digit Consumer Number) under any Rajasthan Discom.
- Be an existing consumer of JVVNL, AVVNL, or JdVVNL.
- Have their own roof suitable for installing solar panels.
This scheme has been started by the Rajasthan government to give relief to domestic consumers. All consumers who are registered under the Chief Minister’s Free Electricity Scheme are eligible to get benefits under this scheme.
